By Matt StrawnThe secret to the Peterson Automotive museum is a new technology developed by Danish design company zak bags.
It uses a computer algorithm to build a 3D model of a vehicle.
When the model is 3D printed on to a special plastic sheet, it becomes a replica of the real thing.
“The 3D printing technology is really unique and you have a lot of room to experiment with it,” says Zak Bagans, director of the museum.
“You can make a replica that is like the real vehicle.”
Zak Baganas Museum director Matt Strippens told the BBC that the Petenson Automotive collection is “a collection of cars” that “isnt a museum but an experience” that would help the world understand the technology behind vehicles.
The museum is also working on a virtual reality exhibit that will allow visitors to walk through a replica version of the Petterson Automotive Building.
The exhibit, called the Petsey’s Garage, is being developed by a group of British companies.
It will take visitors inside the building to see how the factory produced vehicles in the 19th century.
